This study aimed to evaluate the antioxidant activity and determine the total phenolic content of Sida acuta (Ya Khat Mon). Extraction was performed using ethanol as the solvent via maceration for 24 hours at room temperature. The resulting crude extract appeared as a dark green viscous liquid, with an extraction yield of 5.7136% based on dry plant weight. Antioxidant activity assessed by the 2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging assay demonstrated that the crude extract exhibited antioxidant activity with IC₅₀ value of 2.2139 mg/mL, whereas the standard Trolox solution exhibited IC₅₀ value of 0.0116 mg/mL. Furthermore, analysis of the total phenolic content using the Folin–Ciocalteu method revealed that the crude extract contained 910.0000 mg GAE/g of extract.
